Update is finally here, now supporting two additional leagues; group stages and ladders with full autoswitch compatibility.

Update features: (full addon features coming soon)

1) Group Stages

* Used to determine qualifiers for the following league. (tournament or ladder)
* Randomized or specific group registration
* Automatic match setup for reporting
* option: participants must vs against all other participants (more matches, more fairness)
* All matches recorded in module, including game/inscribed/confirmed date & user-report
* Qualify according to match wins/losses OR points from matches
* Qualifyers automatically shown and available to register once all matches are complete
* Private message to each individual participant "League Eligibility Notification"
* Determine XP by all points in matches or only points in matches won.
* Set maxrounds
* Auto-check winners and set times, status etc automatically after finish.

* Play type: Challenging only, Open-Play only OR BOTH.
* Advanced 3-step challenging system to allow fair match initiation between challenger and challenged
* Comprehensive customizable challenge system to suit your needs
* Forfeit awards if user does not respond or finalize challenge on time
* Challenger can allow or disallow challenged to alter server information provided by the challenger
* Real-time information showing you the exact time/dates for forfeits/responses etc
* Set the timezone in admin
* Challenged can forfeit challenge, forfeit awarded to challenger

* Automatic match report setup after challenge is finalized by challenger

This should be used for testing only, I have not tested the full extent of this addon...
This has update from V4.1.6 only, for versions prior to V4.1.6, update to V4.1.6 then to V5.

If there is anything you believe is bugged or not working how it should, share the feedback. There may well be blanks, inaccuracy etc but this is normal. Report it with the URL and/or any error message that appears. I have designed V5 for easy fixing so you'll get the updates fast.

I went to try and install this over the prior version, but when I get to the installtion screen, I see nothing to click to install...

hmm.. please exclude all sc_ cup files from index.php temporarily. I think variables are passed onto the installer.

Since I can't post this on your website, here is the first bug I found unless there is a problem with my database.

Addon Section: Ladder

- I have began to test this part of the addon with a 8 team system.
- I have added all the teams to the ladder.
- I go into admin panel to add players to "Line-up" & get this error.

Error:# Query failed: errorno=1054
# error=Unknown column 'ladID' in 'where clause'
# query=SELECT userID FROM ws1_cup_clan_members WHERE ladID='0' && clanID = '448'

Anyone have an answer and did this happen to anyone else testing?

Next: Not a bug, but you could fix for your next release:
- Inside the admin panel under "Cup Menu" you have "Ladders" spelt "Laddders"
- I fixed this myself, but just a fyi lächeln

Sc_Includes:
- Are not pulling any information from my latest Tournament.
- They are pulling information from all previous ones.
- Not sure how to fix this.

It's not a bug, go to config.php

$sc_cupmatches_order is set to 1 by default which means it will order by the confirmed date. But because this will only take affect in V5, I changed it to 0

I also noticed on your website, you have a nice sc_include for recent matches with the winner score being green and loser is red ect... anyway you could post your code?

It wouldn't match lächeln

Because mine is using <div> tags and a custom stylesheet for that template only.
But you can anyway, you need to download the template called Consolefrag from clantemplates.com

Yes I have downloaded that template and tried to use it and edit it...but the only problem was not getting the COLORS to show up....I did add the stylesheet and figured it would work lol.

This is a cosmetic change, nothing to seriously look into as I am sure you are busier with other things. But if you get board, you have my details & would be willing to pay for it.


Actual Question: Did version 4 of the this addon use the Clans "TAGS" or Bracket Names for the "Sc_Include" - I either got some really long team names on my site...or it was switched to team names and not bracket names...

And if this did happen....can I change it back?

Yeah it is not bracket names.

Go to /src/func/cup.php, find the getname function and change getclanname2 to getclanname.

If you want the colours also, you can use this simple code:

It does not do anything. When I go into my sc_cupmatches.html and change the $ds[score1] & $ds[score2] to $score1 & $score2, none of my scores show up on site.

Now my Sc_upcomingmatches include is not pulling the latest tournament matches. Do I go in and change something to 1 or 0 like I did for the Latest Matches?

I have just checked and is correct:

On all active tournaments it's the same thing and i can't find where the duplicate code is so I can remove it. Some help maybe? lächeln

At first nice work!


But the frontend is confusing for me.

There are so many settings & profiles and other stuff, that a navigation would be nice.

E.g. like "Forum » webSPELL.Addons + Mods » EN - Addons » Cup Addon V5 BETA Editon (Tournaments, Ladder..."

This was already reported as bug and will be a quickfix for it tommorow.

If you are talking about the "latest cup matches" then you need to place the "sc_cupmatches.php" include where you want it to show up on your page within your index.html

Hello all,

First of karimali831 - awsome work with the addon! It rox.

Now to the matter:
I downloaded the addon and uploaded it to my FTP. When I am to install it - I get a qury failed instantly saying something about me having profile addon installed - when I dont have it installed. I click on the other alternative "upgrade from v4.1.6" (I think, not sure) and it says it was successfully done. Fine I think and I am going to test it out.

When I go to the admin center - I cant view the cup part. Its like half of the part is missing and it wont show. I dont know what I do wrong - I follow the instructions as well but no.

I have the latest webspell version.

Please - any help would be highly appreciated

i had the same problam all i did was put the webspell 4.2.2a default index.php and admincenter.php in and then installed the cup addon and then put my , index.php and admincenter.php zwinkern

When you say index.php and admincenter.php you mean from the map called "admin".

Thanks for tip. But I´ve done this with 3 other diffrent cup scripts and I´ve got the same error.

For a record, I know how to install WS and purge the db after each installation - so the installation between WS and webserver / mySQL went perfect.

Hey!
I've got one question to someone who knows well this CUP ADDONs scripts. I've installed it a few days ago and everything was ok. No probz with files, instalation, or with my database. Almost everything is working correctly, but... when some1 must confirm his match in tournament there is a little bug. Protest works fine and everything is storaged in database, but when i try to confirm a match there is info 'bout "query failed":

As i can think there's more data than columns in cup_matches, but is it some kind of bug in script or database problem? What can I do to repair it? Where can I find this code? In matches.php or cupactions.php? What is funny, this data also is storaged in database and after reloading our website we've got information that match is CONFIRMED.

Hi!

I have a problem with tournaments that are not 1 vs 1. Whenever i create such a tournament it messes my entire page up. It's like a paragraph or something hasn't been closed. At 1 vs 1 tournaments i have no problems, the site is looking ok.

It means penalty points has been imposed against this user, view the points at:
http://team-x1.co.uk/l...amp;clanID=233&type=1

and replace clanID=233 with the ID of the user's locked profile.

No in current release but a module called Match-II is like this and is in development for future release.

try use admincenter.php from webspell main package, if this then works then you have problem with installation of cup.

secondly... i have lost count to how many times I must remind users to enable debug mode, this way we will get a more comprehensive message of the error instead of just "Query failed!" - view http://www.webspell.or...p;faqID=33&faqcatID=5

doing this I will know exactly how and where and provide fix on same day...

I had the same issue before but I realised what I was doing. You know the files under languages, are you copying the folders over? Because I was doing that previously and it was removing tonnes of files.

For example, when installing the addon, you have to go into languages, then UK for example and then move the files into there. Don't move the whole folder

Is the template free? Then surely if it is they can't be any legal actions taken due to it being free... if its released free, its open source meaning people are able to do what they please with it.

No you are wrong, webspell is free for example but removing the copyright notice is forbidden.... they are able to edit the source code but not change or remove the copyright pretending it's their own content.

do you have phpmyadmin? you need to check associated cup tables to see if they are all there, the one that contributes specifically to admincenter.php is the cup_tickets table. you need to check its existence in phpmyadmin.

cup_tickets is missing under these "things" (other cup_ are missing too, but i think it's normal):
ws_buD;
ws_Xmh

and cup_tickets existing under:
ws_3at;
ws_h3h;
ws_F9D;


P.S. tried once again to reinstall but nothing..

You obviously don't know what database you are using, check this in _mysql.php and check if the table exists under that "thing" - they are what you call databases.

Das Design von diese, Team X1 da wo das Add-On vorgstellt wird. Das hab ich jetzt auf anderen Seiten die das Add-On auch benutzen gesehen. Dachte vielleicht ist das nen Template was man bekommen kann?

Gibt es ansonsten etwas? Bin Design mäßig ne Niete und Geldtechnisch siehts im moment auch nicht gut aus um sich sowas leisten zu können mit na Anpassung.
