Hello!

I think it\\\'s very annoying that webSPELL doesn\\\'t escape the text properly.

Example of this:
- Hello, what\\\'s your name?
- \\\"Look at this bug\\\"!

Notice the use of \\\\

This can EASILY be fixed by adding the following function to webSPELL: http://norskwebforum.no/pastebin/7955
Then, istead of using this old standard method, you use this one.

Notice that I haven\\\'t escaped the $about string, since the \\\"sql_quote()\\\" function will do this automaticly if the string contains more than just numbers.

And on output, you uses the \"stripslashes()\" to remove them.

Numbers (integers) SHOULD NOT BE ESCAPED!

The bug is very old, not fixed even in WS\'s clones ;-)

In the new Version this Bug is fixed

Nice to know that ;-) Any idea when it\'s going to be public? I asked Florian back in October, he said it should be released somewhat around Christmas time. Could we expect any serious delays?

It might have been answered in the German section of the forums, but I cant read German ;-(
