Just noticed this reply, and there's me thinking it was solved. Its since i done the mods below iv had the issues. Im going to take them out and see what happens. Can these mods effect it in that way though?

Thanks for pointing that out, both in the index.php and the admincenter.php the address to the bbcode was wrong, there should of been another folder infront of the js one. This has now been solved.

Seems like the file is missing on the server...


For me no js-action worked (it does not depend to the superadmin-permission)

Sounds like some code gets executed when being a superadmin. The reason could be an addon you've installed on your site.

Hi, thanks for your input to this topic. I took your advice and searched google and I wouldn't be back here if I thought it wasn't a code related issue.

I originally said the JavaScript buttons didn't work on my desktop browser but did on my phone, a few days later it stopped working in my phone browser too. I carried on with the advice that it was client side until this weekend when the javascipt stopped working for our second site admin.

He noticed it stopped Saturday morning after doing a cache clean or something along them lines.

Next I asked a trusted member to try clicking on the news "archive" button and it worked for him, still thinking client side problem right?
Well we thought we would give him "super admin rights" so he could moderate the users until we had solved the problem on our end, but as soon as I gave him the "super admin rights" all the buttons stopped working for him too.

My conclusion is pointing back to something on the server side.

Atleast it's something abit more to go off now.

If that does not do the trick, please use google yourself to find the answer, as you pointed out earlier this is not a webSPELL related problem.

Ok but javascript is still enabled in both my desktop browsers and I don't have any add-ons/extensions installed.

Is there anyway to find out whats blocking it if thats the case.

Please take notice that JAVA is not the same as Javascript.
There are Addons like NoScript which are blocking Javascript as default on all website.

I tried my site on my iphone (safari browser) and it works fine so it must be something to do with my PC browser, i tried in chrome which is strange as its my default browser and never had issues + its been working all morning Also tried in firefox which isnt working.

I have updated java.

In both browsers java is enabled.
