Hi All,

Like lot of people, I am to getting lot of Spam on my forums. It has become a daily occurrence now. I do have Captcha set but I dont know how they still get through. They have even gotten in to the Private members only section where its not even visible for for normal users, and I just spent the last 2 hours cleaning.

I'm currently running version 4.2.2a.

Can someone please kindly point me to some addons and fixes I can do to try and stamp out this spams.

Also is there an addon or a fix to ban ip addresses. Yes I am aware of dynamic/static ip addresses, but my web site is only exclusive to one country and I dont mind banning other IP's coming from out side as its looks like all my spams are originated from Asia. Is there a way to keep a track of the last known ip address for a particular user as well so this can be used for banning?

For example, before webSPELL, my site was running on In-vision Power Board. It kept track of last know ip address of all known users. For me to do an ip address or banning for a particular country I could add the following to the banned list. Eg 127.78.*

Is there any addon like this for webspell

I also would really like some info regarding this.
My website is totally secured from spammers but I get the odd spammer on my forums.
But then I doubt there is any solutions as even these webspell forums get loads of smap lol.

What are the current best, tips & tricks to keep spam to a minimum?

I realise spam will always exsist, because if it could be 100% beaten, then no-one would bother. However, I know there are ways of keeping it relatively clear.
