Hello everybody!

First of all, im loving this webspell cms!
Everything about it is slick, easy to install, userfriendly. Thumbs uP!

So now I went ahead and bought a template of "vyral", and figured it was gonna be a piece of cake.
However it is all in german!! I have been sitting with it for hours, and starting to feel like a true moron.
I tried using google translator to translate the text, but it just comes out as jibberish...

So I ask you here, since vyral are not very cooperative in helping.

How do I install the template??

Could someone PLEEEEEEASE help me and explain this in english?

1. I've already installed webspell on my domain.
2. I upload all the files yes? But to where? the core of my ftp, or do I create a folder called "templates/themes" ??

Im so confused, hope I can get some help here. :S

1. Get the latest version of webspell on www.webspell.org
2. install it on your webspace (till this all done)
3. Install the files from the "WebspellAddonsordner" folder.
4. Load all files of the Webspell Code folder to the folder of your webspell on your webspace.

I hope you understand this. If not you can contact me or send the link to the template here in the forum so we can look how to install it with the files .

Sometimes it would be nice to know a bit more german than I do now, google translate doesn't work in most cases..

I figured as much, but it didn't work. I uploaded all the files as a "folder", then I realized the files have to be OUT of the folder. Or in other words, the files from the template /replaces the orginal webspell files. So I did that, and it works.
However, when I read in the german manual, or as you translated it states:

"3. Install the files from the "WebspellAddonsordner" folder."

That means, in order for the addons to work, they have to be installed first? right?
I tried to install them afterwards, and then the CMS just went WHITE. A big white blank page !? o.O

There is only 3 addon files, topmatch, topplayer, and sime special slider. The process seems simple, but I cant get it to work. :/

You upload all the addon files in the main folder as well ( with the webspell files )

And then you run the install files such as "install_topmatch.php" and so on..

Then I install THEM first, THEN the template or what?

Cause thats how it looked, in that order.

Also said I had to add a script in index.php, its an include script. But where do I put it ?

You put all the files in the main folder.. Template files and the addons at the same place at the same time..

Then you run the addon installation files and it should work right there unless there's something else needed as well but if it's not in the readme file then that would be very very strange!

Oh, I dont use msn, but Im gonna try your way. See if it works.

Did it work? When not -> sometimes the developer use the webspell environment and sometimes not.

So try it on 2 ways because there is no description in the readme

Hey! I installed the topmatch as described in the readme:

### ENGLISH ###

1. Upload all files to your Webspace

2. start http://www.yourdomain.com/install-topmatch.php

3. delete the install file

4. <?php include("sc_topmatch.php"); ?> include this in the index.php

5. give the rights "777" the dir "images/topmatch"

6. in the admincenter by topmatch insert settings and topmatches

7. Finish & HF

*its the only installation file, that actually contains an english version lol.


BUT it says at .6 "in the admincenter by topmatch insert settings and topmatches".

However I spent 15 mins looking for anything that said "topmatch" in there, and it dosent show.

Something is not right, perhaps im putting the "<?php include("sc_topmatch.php"); ?>" part in the wrong place inside the index??? And my next question is gonna be. IF i get the topmatch to work, what happens when I upload the actual template files. They are gonna overwrite the addon files arent they??

Im tempted to goto vyral and PAY for the installation services. 15 euros. But this is suppose to be SO simple, and I want to do it myself. Plus, it will take ages before vyral will get it done for me. Their customer service is a joke. Sent a support request, posted on their forum, and not a word back... 6 days ago. -.-
