I've registered to your website to download it and activated my account but when I go to login with the dropdown at the top it says my account isn't activated so I'm unable to download.

try changing your link from
http:// team-x1.co.uk/site/index.php?site=register&key=XYZ

to

http:// team-x1.co.uk/league/index.php?site=register&key=XYZ

I went to try and install this over the prior version, but when I get to the installtion screen, I see nothing to click to install...

hmm.. please exclude all sc_ cup files from index.php temporarily. I think variables are passed onto the installer.

there are many, you can easily adapt old webspell templates to the new version.
