I'm currently working on a Membermap for webSPELL using Google Maps.

Features:
- Firefox Geolocation and Google Gears Geolocation used to automaticly find your Postal Code, City, longitude, latitude.
- Add Users by City,Country,Address or by longitude/latitude
- User can decide whether they want to be shown in the Membermap or not (myprofile.php)

and i'm currently not in witten. witten is around 45km from my location away. the location finder isn't the best but great idea and work

Maybe Google Gears or FireFox Geolocation returns a better Result. If you have Google Gears installed or you are using Firefox 3.5 (or higher) there should be a matching Button

I think there has to be a Option, to Drag+Drop your Marker so you can determine where you live by yourself.
