During installation only the tables are created - no data is inserted. The data gets inserted into the database when first importing. It should definitively be no problem to import 2 and more templates at the same time. However you can not import normal webSPELL templates - they first need to be converted and converting is as of right now only possible while installing.

Maybe turn on error reporting in _settings.php and look for some messages so I have something to guess the problem from.

Well i cant manage to get multiple themes converted and working on the same site, guess ill just make edits of the same converted theme. What theme related data is being stored in the database during the install?

Yes of curse. Just let UTM install convert your 1. template and then duplicate the default folder and name it what ever you want it. The second folder should show up immediately in the admin center and you should be able to import it.

I tried running the install, backing up the utm, restoring the file structure, add new theme, run the install again, add utm template back, but only the template i just installed would work properly.

Can i just convert a theme to a utm theme then use that to edit and create utm compatible themes? What exactly is added to the database, any part of the theme?

No you can not use 4.2.1 templates with this mod, basically you can only use the template that was converted in the install process. However you can create multiple unified template modification (short: utm) compatible templates by running the install over again after resetting the template folder. So basically what you do is install the mod, copy the created utm compatible template to another location then reset your templates folder within the webspell folder, install another template and rerun the installation to receive another utm compatible template.

But I also have to point out that this modification is in an alpha stage and if you aren't a developer familiar with webspell it might not be such a good idea to use this on an live site. Also there is no front end template switch implemented yet and the color settings like page bg, cell bg and so on which are saved in the database can not be defined for every template differently.

So for your aimed goals you probably should wait for at least a beta version.

So how do i get multiple themes installed with this mod? I am highly impressed with webspell so far, and if i can get this to work it will remedy the one critical feature webspell is missing.

I was also wondering if 4.2.1 themes are okay to use with 4.2.2 ?

Yes it could but I don't want to create a branch of webSPELL on my own just yet xD So massive php file editing is not something I'm aiming at right now - I'm more into the smart mods and addons

No you won't need to reimport after changing which template is default.
