well this is about fixing comments and how about fixing CHMOD i cant even install it because of the install.php that it says i have no put the CHMOD..

UPDATE: For the video posts I submitted prior to applying the fix the comments don't work but for my newer ones since applying the fix comments are now working.

Before I downloaded and installed the fix, when I tried to post a comment I got the same 'query failed' error from your link. I installed the 'fixed' version and I no longer get the error but my comments don't post.

With both versions when I turn on error reporting there are lots of 'Use of undefined constant vidclip - assumed 'vidclip' ' I'm not sure if these affect it.

i already did this and get the problem whic i mentioned above. this version was used for the upgrade. still cant comment.

And in the best way you remove the Databasesheets from the addon befor reinstalling it (via phpmyadmin).

after this, i upgraded it, but i cant still post comments, when i click send button nothings happen? anyone have same problem with the comment section of videos addon

We rewrite the whole addon. There will be full availability on all systems and the addon should work on each webspell version, old and new ones.

My point was more to the fact that CHMOD does not work with windows servers so the way the install script is written the windows server won't respond correctly with the permissions check. Hopefully their new script will accomodate windows servers as well (ie no permission check required).
